The Voerstreek is one of the most beautiful hiking regions in Flanders. The rolling landscape, sunken lanes, forests, and stream valleys make it an ideal hiking area. Via the signposted hiking network, you can follow more than 125 kilometers of hiking trails, with routes for every level. The well-known Bronnenwandeling (Source Walk), named the most beautiful walk in Flanders, is also part of this. <\/p>

Six signposted hiking routes start directly from the Lo-Ghis accommodation. Thanks to our collaboration with Wandelgids Zuid-Limburg (Hiking Guide South Limburg), you will find clear maps and extra tips for the road. The tradition of the Aubel market has existed since the 17th century. Every Sunday, this market honors the many fresh and tasty products from Aubel and the surrounding area. What a treat it was to get away for a few days in this fantastic accommodation.
\nThe warm personal welcome with grand tour and explanation, with fresh pie from the region were a great start. Exploring the region, walking with my sweethearts and our dog near Vaals, shopping in Valkenburg, visited a syrup factory, did some shopping and cooked a nice meal. Then the wood stove outside and enjoying the hot tub until late (and yes we were there January 3rd) and the beds slept great with of course bread from the recommended bakery in the morning\u2026\u2026. (genius). There was only one downside \u2026\u2026. We had to leave again. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

I can summarize this in one word: super!
\nWe had a fantastic stay in one of these beautiful holiday homes a while ago and I cannot recommend it enough. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail was impressive and contributed to a comfortable and relaxing stay.
\nThe service was absolutely top notch. The friendly staff were always ready to help and made sure that all our needs were met, they were very hospitable.
\nAs for the location, I can say that it is ideally located in the beautiful surroundings of Voeren. There are plenty of activities and sights nearby, so you don't have to travel long distances to have a fun trip or vacation. Whether you want to hike, relax (in the hot tub), cycle, discover the local culture or have a nice beer on the terrace, there is something for everyone.
\nAll in all, my stay in this holiday home in Voeren was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent service and an ideal location. Last weekend we stayed with the BC ladies at number 18. What we enjoyed! Upon arrival, fresh pie was ready with beautiful tulips from the picking garden a little further on. The house was fully equipped. Each bedroom had its own very original decor. 4 bedrooms with comfortable beds. 2 bathrooms and 2 separate toilets. The hot tub in the garden was the icing on the cake! What a wonderful holiday this was, enjoying it to the fullest!
\nThe house is beautiful, good beds, good service too. You can book all sorts of things with the owner Ghis. A delicious breakfast, BBQ or gourmet, snack boards. It is delicious and well taken care of.
\nThe location is perfect for relaxing, but also for wonderful walks. With this environment you imagine yourself in the South of France and that just across the border. Even if you like visiting big cities, this is the perfect location, Maastricht and Li\u00e8ge are a short distance away, or the local delicious market in Aubel on Sunday morning.
